HAM Radio & Morse code in the Welsh mountains

Combining amateur radio with Welsh Marilyn bagging or "Summits on the air!"

Summits on the Air from the Preselis

Handheld shortwave radio activaters calling chasers from Britain to Europe from the mountain summits of Wales.

When there's no one there to receive your call, a spot of lunch, in winter conditions goes down well.

This Marilyn was Frenni Fawr of the Preseli range, North Pembrokeshire looking over towards Foel Cwmcerwyn another Marilyn.

When all else fails good old Morse code might get some results.

After four successful calls to chasers from the summit you've got the points!

Even Hari the dog gets in on the action.
